Worldwide Knit & Crochet in Public Day

June 11, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come relax and celebrate Worldwide Knit and Crochet in Public Day! Founded in 2005 by Astrid Salling, this event takes place annually in over 57 countries! Our motto is “Better Living Through Stitching Together.”
Whether you are a beginner, experienced, or just curious, come join us as we knit and crochet in public. Bring your current project.
The event features a Yarn Swap! Most of us have yarn in our stash that we could part with. If you like, bring yarn to donate, swap, or sell. The Library will have a basket for donated yarn – all proceeds will support Summer Reading events.
If the weather is pleasant, we will meet outside. If it’s hot or rainy, we will meet upstairs.
Parking at meters behind the Library or on lots along West Pine Ave.
