Ask a Social Worker
January 14, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
If you need a little support on your life’s journey, ask a library social worker!
Emily Kahn, MSW, has a background as a medical social worker in the mental health field, as well as serving patients and their families with end-of-life issues through Hospice and Elder Care Law. In collaboration with the rest of the library staff, Emily is committed to building community and meeting patrons where they are with any life challenges they might be experiencing.
She is available for drop-in hours every Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and she and other members of the social work team are available by appointment at other times.
Emily can offer to our patrons:
