Our Location
The Bloomsburg Public Library, located at 225 Market Street in Downtown Bloomsburg, is just off of Market Square.
The main entrance is between the two wings of the building, below the large circular window. The original front door is not currently in use.
There is a book drop bin in the rear of the building. Books for any of the partner libraries (Traveling Library and Orangeville Public Library) may be returned through the book drop. Please do not drop DVDs off in the book drop as it can lead to damaged discs. Thank you!
Parking Information
From June 15 – June 30, 2024
All parking near the Library will be free while the town prepares to switch to the Passport app (links below).
Beginning July 1, 2024
Parking is readily available behind the Library and along Market Street. The meters along Market Street will $.75/hour and can be paid with quarters or the Passport App. The parking lot behind the Library only accepts payment via the Passport App. Normal meter hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am-5pm. Accessibility
The Library is entirely accessible to patrons requiring wheelchairs, scooters, or walking aids. There is an elevator located towards the rear of the building to transport patrons to the second floor, which includes the Children’s Library and our public community rooms.
