Tai Chi
Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion” and involves slow movement that is manageable for people of all ages. Tai Chi is one of those rare things that is really good for you and also feels really good. Participants will do warm-ups and learn the Yang Short Form slowly with a lot of repetition.
We will learn the three basic postures, the five principles, and work together on learning the complete Yang Short Form, which can eventually be repeated at home.
Participants will be in a safe space with a supportive community, with an opportunity to connect socially afterwards. The program runs for one hour and fifteen minutes, but it is ok to leave early if needed.
