You can now log into your account, reserve books, and renew items on your device, 24 hours a day, with our Librista app. Our mobile apps Libby, Flipster, and hoopla will give you instant access ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, TV shows, movies and more! You can even dig into in-depth language learning of 100+ language with Transparent Language, all right in the palm of your hand.
Librista
Librista is a modern native app available on Apple® and Android™ devices that delivers a blend of searching power, personal account management, and connectivity to your library catalog and community events. It allows patrons to search the BPL catalog, read summaries, reserve items, access their account, and more.
To use the Librista app, simply download it and log in using your first initial and last name (i.e. Jane Doe would log in as ‘jdoe’). Your password is the last four digits of your library card. If you don’t have your card, feel free to give us a call! We’ll be happy to provide that for you.
Libby by OverDrive
Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from your local library for free! Libby is the newer library reading app by OverDrive, loved by millions of readers worldwide! Available on Android, Apple, and Kindle devices.
To use the Libby app, download it on your device, then login with your first initial and last name (i.e. Jane Doe would log in at ‘jdoe’). Your password is the last four digits of your library card. If you don’t have your card handy, feel free to call us! We can provide that over the phone for you.

Flipster Magazines
Flipster is a next-generation service that allows you to read magazines through your library – anytime, anywhere!
Flipster offers an easy, browseable reading experience. Think of it as an online newsstand – one of the benefits of your library card. Single magazine issues are expensive! Subscriptions pile up and need recycling. Not with Flipster!
It’s also easy to print a favorite recipe, picture, or article.
Click here to see the most recent issues, as well as a carousel of all issues allowing for quick access to magazines. The table of contents contains links for quick access to articles of interest and hotlinks within magazines are hyperlinked, opening in separate tabs when clicked. In addition, there is an option to zoom in and out for better readability.
You may need to type in your library card number to get access.
There is also a Flipster app for your phone or tablet. Go to your favorite app store for your phone or tablet. Look for “Flipster” and download the app. Select “Bloomsburg Public Library” and click the words “Library Card.” Enter your 14-digit number and start reading!
If you get the message that you have been logged out, don’t worry! Ignore the request for a password and click the words “Library Card” underneath. Then enter your full library card number as before.
